...is the Executive Director and Owner of Open Minds Healing And Recovery. Tamara graduated in 2009 from NMSU with her Masters in Social Work. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has experience working with a variety of clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, post-partum depression, bipolar disorder, substance abuse and PTSD. Tamara is trained and certified in EMDR and is an EMDRIA approved consultant. After 7 years of experience working in an inpatient hospital she spent 2 years practicing under a private group. In the summer of 2018, Tamara opened Open Minds Healing And Recovery and has continued to expand her practice to better meet the needs of her community. She is committed to ensuring the therapists who practice with her provide the highest quality mental health and addiction services to you and your family.
Evelyn Harper, MSW, LCSW (She/Her)

...is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Director at Open Minds Healing And Recovery. She completed her undergraduate degree in social work at Eastern New Mexico and received her Master of Social Work in 2013 from New Mexico State University. Evelyn has experience in domestic violence, child/family therapy and acute inpatient settings. She has been trained in Circle of Security, a parenting program which focuses on building healthy bonds and attachments between parents and children. As well as EMDR, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, to address trauma and PTSD. Currently, Evelyn is working with children ages 5 and up- to address emotional, behavioral concerns, trauma and/or adjustment issues. Evelyn is committed to providing the best quality of mental health services and support to your child/ren and family.
Cassie Dees
...Is the Operations Director at Open Minds Healing And Recovery. With over fifteen years' experience in customer service and financial management Cassie works well independently and as a part of a team. She knows clear communication, positivity, and thinking outside of the box are the keys to providing great customer service. She enjoys putting her business background to work through processing billing, credentialing, marketing and other back office tasks.

... Is a 3-year-old Blue Heeler doggie. Willow climbed on board with her human, Makenzy, June 2024. She has enjoyed meeting all the new humans and has won over so many hearts here at Open Minds Healing and Recovery.
