Alexandra Wofford, MS, LPCC, PMH-C (She/Her)

Alexandra Wofford is a University of the Southwest graduate graduating in 2016 with her Masters in Science emphasis Mental Health Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Alexandra began her career in mental health providing therapeutic services through a partial hospitalization program specializing in substance abuse and addiction services with co-occurring mental illnesses. She has experience in an inpatient hospital setting and outpatient setting working with clients struggling with anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, substance abuse and trauma-related disorders. Alexandra strives to maximize outcomes and provide genuine healing and wholeness through the use of several treatment modalities and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

As of 03/15/2024 Alex is now a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional specializing in anxiety, depression, mood disorders, postpartum trauma and OCD presenting during pregnancy and up to 12 months postpartum. While many parents experience some mild mood changes during or after the birth of a child, 15-20% of women experience more significant symptoms of depression or anxiety. As a PMH-C, Alex can assess, treat/recommend treatment and care for clients experiencing perinatal mental health complications. Babies welcome so please bring your baby!
